오늘 구글 크롬 웹브라우저의 베타버전이 출시되었습니다.
현재 포스팅도 크롬에서 쓰고 있는 것이고요.

크롬 쓰면서 현재까지 가장 맘에드는 것은 최소화 시켜놓고 한두시간정도 다른작업하다가 다시 불러와도 딜레이가 없다는 점입니다. 메모리관리가 꽤 잘 되고 있는것처럼 보이네요.

일단 간단히 살펴보겠습니다.



일단 구글닷컴에 들어가니 아래에 크롬으로의 링크가 추가되어있습니다. 클릭~!

다운로드 창이 뜹니다. 오른쪽 크롬의 로고가 마치 포켓못의 그 캡슐같네요.




뭐 설치 안내가 나오고. 용량이 작아서 그런지 다운로드도 그렇고 설치도 그렇고 몇초 안걸립니다.

일단 가장 먼저 몇군데 사이트를 돌아봤는데요.

혹시 어떨까 해서 항상 말많은 은행(국민)사이트를 들어가봤습니다.



뭐 우리나라 은행이 다 그렇듯이 크로싱브라우징 신경안씁니다.



일단 뱅킹은 안될것 같네요.

몇군데 사이트를 돌아보고 크롬을 닫았다가 다시 열었더니 들어갔던 페이지들이 이렇게 나옵니다.




플래시가 잘 나오나 플러그인을 클릭해서 설치해봤습니다.

일단 요만큼 써 본 소감으로는 눈에 띄게 페이지 렌더링 속도가 빨라졌다는 점입니다.
정말 상상할 수 없을만큼 빠르고 가볍습니다.

뱅킹등 ActiveX가 필요한 페이지 외에는 당분간 크롬만 사용하게 될 것 같습니다.


옵션쪽을 살펴봤는데 딱히 색다를것은 안보이네요.








당연하지만 유튜브 영상도 잘 보입니다.



주소도 뭐 드래그 해서 주소창으로(IE에서 이게 되던가요?)


메모리는 열리는 탭마다 다르게 독립된 리소스를 가지게 됩니다.


한 탭에서 문제가 생기면 다른 탭들에게 영향을 끼치지 않는다. 고 구글에서 말했으나 아직은 이게 정상적으로 되질 않네요. 그냥 다 닫혀버립니다.



일단 오픈소스니까 소스를 보고싶었습니다. 아래 경로에서 소스와 안내 사용권리등을 확인할 수 있습니다.

CNet에 자바스크립트의 속도에 대한 테스트가 올라왔습니다.
Java Script Virtual Machine인 V8이 올라갔다고 하더니 확실히 많이 차이가 나네요.
